  • If Follower is not expecting Lead to do a Susie Q then they may not understand the signals. If Lead thinks Follower may not understand the signals to start a Susie Q then Lead should ask Follower to do the Susie Q.
  • Follower should always be aware of what Lead's feet are doing as this will help alert Follower when Lead starts to do the Susie Q.
  • Follower's arms need to be a little stiffer than normal otherwise Lead's signals will not work.

S1) Lead's left hand pulls Follower's right hand, and Lead's right hand pushes Follower's left hand to twist Follower CCW.
