  • Lead can change hands using either the Stepping Out (in the first bar), or the Spiral Turn (in the second bar).
  • In Bar 1, Lead's footwork is similar to a Pivot Turn.

S1) Lead turns 180° approx. CW as Lead's left foot steps out to the right across their right foot.

Lead's right hand takes hold of Follower's right hand (behind Lead's back) and Lead's left hand lets go.

Follower starts Step in Place, sn0021.

S2) Lead twists 90° approx. CW on their left leg as their right foot turns 180° CW on the spot.

Follower continues Step in Place.

S3) Lead Spins 90° approx. CW on the ball of their right foot, powered by their left foot, to face Follower.

Lead's left foot steps next to their right foot.

Turns in S1,S2 and S3 merge.

Follower continues Step in Place.

S4) Pause.

S5) First - Lead's left hand takes hold of Follower's right hand then Lead's right hand lets go.

Second - Lead's right leg and right arm start to swing in a CW direction.

Follower continues Step in Place.

S6) First (See S6a) - Lead's right leg continues to swing in a CW direction; the momentum generated carries the body around in a 360° Spin on the ball of their left foot.

Halfway round Lead's right hand takes hold of Follower's right hand (behind Lead's back) and Lead's left hand lets go.

Second (See S6b) - Lead finishes the spin facing Follower.

Follower continues Step in Place.

S7) Lead pauses.

Follower finishes Step in Place.

S8) Pause.
