Travelling Turns
Travelling Turns are turns that involve a few steps of 'travelling', and are performed by Follower.
Follower walks three steps in a straight line over three beats (or four beats if a pause is included), while turning 1-1/2 turns (in total) CW or CCW. Follower starts the Travelling Turn facing the direction they intend to go, and they finish facing the way they came from.
The relevant move's chart will show how Lead signals a Travelling Turn.
Spotting can help you keep your balance while doing a Travelling Turn.
Instructions on how to do a Travelling Turn, which you can adapt to other situations, can be found on these charts -

Now try this short routine
No Hold ²
Exactly the same as Open Hold except Lead and Follower don't hold each other, and they stand a little further apart.
In No Hold Follower is still led by Lead. See Shines.
Shines
Shines are done in No Hold. Follower exactly copies Lead but four beats behind. So if Lead starts Suzie Sue on B1 then Follower would start Suzie Sue on B5.

- Mambo Step, sn0001, H2.1 (Twice)
- Suzie Sue (Shine), sn0069 (Once)
Preparation Hold ²
Preparation Hold is a useful position for Lead and can be used at the beginning of many moves.
Lead moves to the right side of Follower (relative to Follower) and on Step 8 the right foot is in front of the left foot.
The arm positions vary and so the chart of a move that ends in Preparation Hold does not show the arm positions (only the foot positions).
For a move that starts in Preparation Hold the arm positions required will be shown at the beginning of the chart.
The diagram shows an example of Preparation Hold but the foot positions and arm positions will vary from move to move.
